POHHF Mission Statement: Preservation of Hometown Heroes and Families, Inc. (POHHF) is dedicated to serving those who serve us and their families! POHHF aims to provide military support services, assess, strengthen, restore, treat, and support individuals and entities who are currently serving or have previously served our communities and country. This target population often includes military members, first responders, hospital professionals, spiritual leaders, and their families, many of whom are least likely to seek out mental health coaching or support. POHHF seeks to change this. Specifically, we will include the leaders or organizations for which these individuals work. Preservation of Hometown Heroes and Families will initially focus on prevention through fee-for-service consultations, education, training, workshops, and special events aimed at increasing resiliency, reducing stigma, and addressing the incidence of physical, emotional, and spiritual decline. As POHHF grows, the goal is to offer these services free of charge through donations and grants. Initially, the fees collected will support the professionals providing mental health consultations. Additionally, as needed, assessment and treatment level care will be recommended by POHHF trained professionals for emotional setbacks or injuries requiring that level of care. POHHF services will be offered by dedicated professionals who are committed to understanding the specific needs of each organization to build trust, support resiliency training, and promote restoration. They will also be tasked with designing innovative solutions tailored to the unique needs of each organization.
